I’m a special educator, doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed Behavior Analyst, and trained provider of Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics.
For more than 15 years, I’ve worked with children, teens, young adults, families, and schools. One thing I’ve learned is that when someone is struggling, there is usually more to the story. A child may look unmotivated when they’re overwhelmed, disorganized when they’re missing a skill, or resistant when the support they’re receiving simply isn’t working for them.
That’s where I come in.
I take the time to understand what’s happening, identify the skills or supports that may be missing, and turn that information into practical strategies that fit everyday life. My work includes support for tic disorders, executive-function challenges, and parents who want a clearer understanding of how to help their child.
My approach is individualized, collaborative, and grounded in evidence—but it also has to be realistic. Families don’t need another complicated plan that only works on paper. They need useful tools, clear next steps, and support that makes sense for their lives.
My goal is to help you better understand what’s getting in the way, recognize the strengths that are already there, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Hi, I’m Dr. Caroline Linfante
